Riverside Soccer Club would like to congratulate all of the teams that participated in the Storm Girls Classic and Broomfield Blast tournaments over the past weekend.
Riverside showed well with the U14 Girls Riverside Renegades Red team clinching 1st place in a dramatic final, which ended with a headed goal three minutes from time. The U15 Girls Riverside Renegades team clinched first place winning all four of their round robin group games to clinch the title.
Well done ladies and well done to Head Coaches Rich Dell (U14) and Ed Montojo (U15).
The U12 Boys had another successful weekend winning the Broomfield Blast tournament, in which Head Coach Steven Drake described some of their play as being "fantastic".
Well done to all the other Riverside teams who competed in tournaments this past weekend. We saw some great soccer and every player should be proud of what they accomplished. The U11 Girls Riverside Renegades kicked off their season this past weekend playing on the 'bigger fields'. It was a challenge to adapt to the size of the field which they overcame well.
The competitive Season starts in two weeks, don't miss out!!! Schedules have been posted on csysa.org. Good Luck Everyone!!!!
